What's Happening Currently

       Whittles Pub & Grub was opened in 2011 by Dave Whittle. Dave loved being social and meeting people, so opening a restaurant and bar was perfect. The vision for Whittles has grown so much over the years with great support from the community. What he thought would be a small-town bar has grown into a large restaurant feeding a lot of people every week. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2019 and couldn’t see what we have become lately but his presence is still felt today. Dave’s wife, Tabatha, and brother’s in-law Mikey Scott & Tim Ochs continue to run the business he enjoyed so much. 

       Whittles has seen a lot of changes and remodels over the last 12 years but it continues to grow, just as the Eldon community does. The building is in historic downtown Eldon, built in the early 1900’s. What once was a drug store is now the bar side and the adjoining room is our dining room. 

       We offer a large menu with over 50 items, plus a kid’s menu. We are a family restaurant. Something unique about us is that we offer a themed menu that changes every month to go with our regular menu. Each month we feature a category and offer 6-10 items specifically to that theme. Some themes we have offered are Homestyle, Asian, Mexican & Cajun. Each month it keeps things fresh and exciting. 

       The restaurant business is not easy and with so many closing shortly after opening we have to contribute our success to our wonderful employees and community. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and those who will in the future.
