Say What!

“With that much track rework, you’ve got to get out and go and make your own laps and be the guy to dictate where you move around and which lines are fast,The first start was important and I knew each restart was going to be just as important because the corners are so sharp here. You just have to lift getting into them. I didn’t want anybody to drive up in there and slide me.” Jacob Denney winning Paragon IN USAC Midgets

“My heart rate is a little bit up. I feel like I had a little arm pump there,It didn’t take much to throw the wheel out of your hand. It seemed like a couple of times I’d get tight behind a guy then hit a hole and it would jerk the wheel around, and I’d have to grab back on and hold on as tight as I could. Man, hats off to Philip Dietz. Winning another race here at Jackson I owe a lot of that to him. He just does a great job, makes phenomenal adjustments here. It seems like I can rotate these corners better than anyone.” Carson Macedo winning Jackson MN World of Outlaws

  • Column)Pat & Bruce Eckel have their column from the rest of Indiana Midget Week with three rainouts and the final race run at Kokomo Speedway. The wingless sprint car main saw a tangle in turn two between leader, Robert Ballou, & Kale Drake with Ballou spinning. Mitchel Moles would pass Drake for the lead on the white flag lap and steal the win over Drake and Cale Coons.A Typical Weekend  6/9

  • Western PA Speed Week)Mother Nature has done her worst, but Western PA Speedweek will not be going down without a fight. First and foremost, thank you to our long list of wonderful partners that continue to make this possible. The Sunday, June 1st race at Tri City Raceway Park will be experiencing a purse increase with over $1,600 being injected into the originally posted payoff with it now $4,000 to-win and $350 to start. Drivers will now be racing for the following purse:

  • Column)Pat & Bruce Eckel have their column from Friday night's racing at Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis where Harley Burns literally beat the rain to win the 25 lap Midwest Thunder Wingless 410 sprint car feature running the last three laps in the rain. Ricky Lewis chased him to the line in second with Rylan Gray nipping Brayden Fox on the final lap to grab third.A Typical Weekend  5/31

  • CRSA)Mother Nature scored her first win over CRSA this year as Fonda Speedway and CRSA officials called Saturday’s running of the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge a rainout. Over a half-inch of rain continues to fall on the Fonda fairgrounds, saturating the track and its surroundings. Couple that with cold temperatures below average, and officials had no choice but to not race tonight. Press Releases5/31

  • Western PA Speed Week)Overnight rains and temperatures nearly 20 degrees below average season temperatures have forced Western PA Speedweek and Sharon Speedway officials to cancel Night #4 of Schaeffer’s Specialized Lubricants Western PA Speedweek presented by J.S. Bova Excavating. The event will not be rescheduled. Press Releases5/31

  • Sharon Speedway OH)Persistent morning showers on top of saturated grounds from Friday’s rain coupled with unseasonably cold and windy conditions have forced the cancellation of Saturday’s Western PA Sprint Speedweek event at Sharon. It marked the second straight cancellation after the first two events of the 96th anniversary season were completed. Coming up next Saturday (June 7), will be another Bala Management “Super Series” event featuring the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars racing for $4,000 to-win. The non-wing RUSH Sprint Cars and HTMA/Precise Racing Products RUSH Sportsman Modifieds will round out the three-division program. Pits open at 4 p.m. with grandstands at 4:30, qualifying at 6:30 followed by racing. 5/31

  • Wayne County Speedway OH)RACE NIGHT CANCELED  Due to yesterday’s and overnight rains, along with today’s cooler and windy conditions, Wayne County Speedway officials have made the decision to cancel this evening’s racing activities. We appreciate everyone’s understanding!5/31

  • Lincoln Speedway PA)RACING CANCELED - MAY 31 Due to the amount of rain received and the forecast, racing at Lincoln Speedway has been CANCELED for Saturday, May 31.
